Zues Car Duty Checker is a private estimate for dealers and buyers. Zues LLC is not the Ghana Revenue Authority, Ghana Customs, ICUMS, or UNIPASS. It is not a customs assessment, a classification ruling, or advice that a vehicle may be imported. The official assessment at clearance is final. “Estimate based on GRA/UNIPASS published rates. The fee
You pay Zues for the service on the website. You do not pay the duty here, and Zues does not hold a wallet for you. A new account may run the number of free checks set by Zues, normally 3. After that, the website offers two prices, both set by Zues:
- A single check is a one-time fee for one successful calculation. It is recorded against that payment and used by the next calculation. It is not stored value, it is not transferable, and two purchases are two checks, not one combined balance.
- Unlimited is a monthly fee for checks during the paid period. On the website the fee is Mobile Money through ExpressPay. This build does not send a live prompt. The iOS and Android apps do not take a fee.
Cancellation
You can cancel renewal from your account. Unlimited stays available until the end of the period you have paid for. Cancelling does not delete unused single checks. There is no extra step designed to make you stay, and there is no fee for cancelling.
If a calculation fails before a result is saved, a single check is not used. A repeated submit of the same vehicle, rate and date returns the saved result and does not use a second check.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for the VIN, the value and the rate you enter. A standards rule may prohibit a vehicle even where a penalty percentage is shown. Right-hand-drive vehicles are restricted under customs law. Zues is not liable for a difference between this estimate and the GRA assessment, to the extent the law allows a limit.
